Clinical Study Grants fund clinical trials and, in some cases, observational studies addressing cardiovascular disease, from UK-led trials with international sites to multinational trials endorsed by the GCRFF Multinational Clinical Trials Initiative. BHF expects large, multicentre trials to include a feasibility 'vanguard phase' and a properly powered sample size, usually at 90% power.
