Cancer Prevention and Control Clinical Trials Grant Program
Funds an investigator's own cancer trial in early detection, screening, prevention, care delivery, quality of life or survivorship — not diagnosis or therapy.
Most cancer trial money goes on treating people who already have cancer. This notice funds the rest of the field, and draws a hard line around itself.

Investigator-initiated clinical trials reducing cancer burden through early detection, screening, prevention and interception, healthcare delivery, quality of life or survivorship, of programmatic interest to the Division of Cancer Prevention or the Division of Cancer Control and Population Sciences. Trials of cancer diagnosis or oncologic therapy in patients are excluded.
