Javna agencija SPIRIT Slovenija, or SPIRIT Slovenia, is Slovenia's public agency for entrepreneurship, internationalisation, foreign investment, and technology. It sits under the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport and is recorded with EUR 29.74 million in annual grants for 2025.

Its core instruments are grants, trade-fair co-financing, and large-investment incentives. The active portfolio includes JR SEJMI 2024-2028 for international trade-fair support, JR PARTNERSTVA 2025-2028 for foreign-market entry partnerships, JPMZ 2025-2029 for young and women first-time entrepreneurs, JR KOMPETENCE 2025-2029 for skills development, JR INVEST for large investments, and the just-transition line in Zasavje, alongside youth entrepreneurship education. The sectors run from manufacturing and hardware to materials, AI infrastructure, climate, biotech, and energy.

Applicants are expected to be registered or operating in Slovenia, with calls split between the eastern and western cohesion regions. SPIRIT's delivery model is practical and regionally anchored: it uses EU cohesion funding, NextGenerationEU, and national budget channels to back firms, support institutions, and investment projects that can move quickly from application to execution.
