JR SEJMI 2024–2028 is a multi-cycle public call administered by SPIRIT Slovenija — the Public Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship, Internationalization, Foreign Investments and Technology — to co-finance individual presentations by Slovenian SMEs at international trade fairs held abroad. The call was first published on 12 July 2024, amended by Official Gazette publication 59/2025 on 1 August 2025 to simplify procedures, and remains active through multiple annual submission rounds running to 2028. The 2026 submission window ran from 8 January to 13 May 2026. In the first round, 165 applications were received and 99 were approved, indicating a success rate above 30%.

Eligible applicants are SMEs registered in Slovenia seeking to diversify into foreign markets, expand existing international activities, or present products and services to foreign business partners. The instrument is a non-repayable grant co-financing eligible exhibition costs such as stand rental, construction, and associated participation fees at international fairs abroad. The funding envelope is divided between Slovenia's two EU cohesion regions — Vzhodna Slovenija (Eastern Slovenia) and Zahodna Slovenija (Western Slovenia) — and applicants apply to the sub-quota for their region. Per-applicant award caps and exact co-financing rates are published in the razpisna dokumentacija PDF available from SPIRIT's website.

Applications and enquiries are directed to sejmi2428@spiritslovenia.si. The next annual cycle is expected to open in early 2027. Competitive applications demonstrate clear export strategy, defined target markets, and concrete plans for converting trade fair participation into commercial partnerships. SPIRIT's Q&A document from April 2026 confirms the call was actively running into calendar 2026 with ongoing support from the agency's internationalization division.
