Funding Call for Young and Women-Led Startups
Pays young and women-led Slovenian micro, small, and medium enterprises a flat EUR 9,000 grant, split into two milestone-based instalments, to cover early-stage labour costs, training, and mentoring.
SPIRIT Slovenia is funding this call from a EUR 9.45 million pool running over five years, 2025 to 2029, with room for up to around 1,050 start-up projects in total across that period. Projects run in two phases: a five-month Phase A and an optional further five-month Phase B, and a company can stop after Phase A if it chooses. Each phase pays a fixed EUR 4,500 once the company stays operational, …
The call backs newly founded Slovenian MSMEs led by entrepreneurs under 29 or by women of any age, aiming to help them overcome early financing barriers and build basic entrepreneurial and market skills. It contributes to the EU's 2021-2027 Cohesion Policy goal of strengthening sustainable growth, competitiveness, and job creation in SMEs, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.
