TTGV Climate Pioneer — First-of-Their-Kind Demo Projects

Runs TTGV Climate Pioneer Demo Projects as joint venture equity support for first-of-kind climate technology demonstrations in Türkiye.

TTGV (Technology Development Foundation of Türkiye / Türkiye Teknoloji Geliştirme Vakfı) is a Ankara-based private foundation established in 1991 to support the international competitiveness of the Turkish private sector through technology development. Since 2023, TTGV has designated climate technologies as its central strategic focus. The Climate Pioneer Investment Program's Demo Projects track — Sub-Program C — supports commercial-scale climate technology demonstrations that are first-of-their-kind in Türkiye, targeting projects at TRL 7 or above.

The instrument is an equity co-investment via a Joint Venture model, not a grant. TTGV provides deep technical and economic feasibility analysis, assists in structuring JV arrangements with local Turkish stakeholders, and channels catalytic investment through the Climate Vanguard VC Fund. Eligibility conditions are strict: the project must be a genuine first-of-its-kind in Türkiye, must demonstrate high multiplier impact, must build local know-how and capacity, must be suitable for scaling, and must be structured as a JV with local partners. No published award amounts are disclosed for this track.

Eligible applicants are for-profit entities operating in Türkiye in the climate technologies sector; nonprofits, universities, and research organizations are not eligible. Applications and initial contact are handled via onculproje@ttgv.org.tr. Engagement appears rolling with no published call cycle for Demo Projects specifically, distinct from the TOP program's periodic General Assembly cycles.

Co-invests via a Joint Venture model in first-of-their-kind commercial-scale climate technology demonstration projects in Türkiye at TRL 7 or above, channeling capital through the Climate Vanguard VC Fund.
