The HTA Programme wants a commissioned study testing the clinical and cost-effectiveness of an intervention for school-aged children with a developmental stammer who want therapy. Applicants must define their own target-age criteria and comparator, and are asked to consider children with common comorbidities such as ADHD and those for whom English is not a first language. The study must build on, or explain how it accounts for, any previous stammering therapy participants may have had.
