What this grant funds

The PHR Programme wants research into the health and health-inequality impacts of interventions supporting young people's transition from compulsory education into further education or employment. Priority is given to understanding how disrupted pathways affect low-income families, racialised communities, care-experienced young people, disabled young people, those with special educational needs, and young women, who face additional structural barriers. The call responds to a 2026 government review into rising youth inactivity.
