Funds work on how GLP-1 and related drugs change cancer risk — raising it for some cancers, lowering it for others.

Incretin mimetics — GLP-1 agonists, GIP-1 agents, and dual GLP-1/GIP-1 drugs — are now taken by very large numbers of people, and the evidence so far suggests they may raise the risk of some obesity-related cancers while lowering the risk of others. Nobody knows why.
