Public datasets of technologies along the hydrogen value chain for life cycle (sustainability) assessment

Funds a coordination project that builds public life-cycle datasets for hydrogen and fuel cell technologies.

Lump sums are used across every topic in this Clean Hydrogen JU 2026 call, and any subcontracted work can only be carried out in the target countries the call sets, which are the EU Member States and all Associated Countries. The funded project must build at least 20 high-quality, open-access datasets (Life Cycle Inventories) covering key products and technologies across the hydrogen value chain,

This call funds creation of public, high-quality datasets covering the life cycle of technologies along the hydrogen value chain, to support life-cycle sustainability assessment (LCSA) of fuel cell and hydrogen (FCH) systems. Proposals should build on the LCSA and eco-design guidelines already produced by earlier JU-funded projects such as SH2E, eGHOST, GUESS-WHy and HyPEF.
